Course fees may be paid either as a single payment or by means of a deposit and subsequent monthly instalments

NMCS International Certificate of Competence	£175	All NMCS courses include course completion certificate.
RYA Basic Navigation	£175	All NMCS courses include course completion certificate
RYA Day Skipper	£250	All RYA courses include revision pack, RYA assessment and certificate
NMCS Coastal Cruising (combined RYA Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster)	£500	Also includes revision pack, RYA/MCA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster assessment and certificate
RYA/MCA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster	£250	All RYA courses include revision pack, RYA assessment and certificate
NMCS Ocean Cruising	£750	Also includes revision packs, RYA/MCA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster and Yachtmaster Ocean assessments and certificates
RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Ocean	£250	All RYA courses include revision pack, RYA assessment and certificate

Instrument Pack A	£39.90	A pack containing 15" parallel rule, single-handed chart dividers, chart compasses, 2 pencils, eraser and sharpener.
Instrument Pack B	£37.90	A pack containing Portland course plotter, single-handed chart dividers, chart compasses, 2 pencils, eraser and sharpener. Tutor recommended.

The NMCS fees include all study material and personal tuition for the allowed duration of your course, (and all exam fees for the RYA courses). The only additional expense will be the paper on which you work and the return of that work to the school.

You will need the basic plotting instruments - parallel rule or another plotter, a pair of compasses, dividers and some 2B pencils. If you don’t already have these, they can be supplied through the NMCS supplies shop. A full catalogue is included with every course.

Fees can be paid in full or by instalments by credit/debit card or by cheque. If you would like to do a course with a friend or partner, please see the information on joint courses.
