Coastal Cruising

ICCRYA Basic NavigationRYA Day SkipperCoastal Cruising Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Ocean CruisingYachtmaster Ocean

Combines the Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster courses into one. This course is aimed at people new to sailing and navigation, who are looking to own or run a boat in the near future and want to eventually reach Yachtmaster standard.

As well as satisfying the syllabus for Day Skipper through to Yachtmaster it also covers areas of owning and running a boat not covered by the RYA.

Since this syllabus more than fulfils the requirements for the award of the RYA Day Skipper and the RYA/MCA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster shorebased certificate, the latter RYA qualification is included within the course (the Day Skipper exams can be completed for a small additional fee).
